Thematic catalogues

More than two hundred thematic catalogues are of vital importance to the Music Library in terms of the research opportunities they provide. Library visitors are given access to the thematic catalogues for famous composers such as Bach (BWV); Vivaldi (RV; Ryom) and Schubert (D; Deutsch) and discover the most important collection of all, the Chronologisch-thematisches Verzeichnis sämtlicher Tonwerke Wolfgang Amadé Mozarts [...]  von Ludwig Ritter von Köchel, otherwise known as the  Köchel-Verzeichnis (KV).

These reference works are indispensible to our cataloguers in determinating and cataloguing musical editions. Needless to remark, these catalogues are for library use only and cannot be lent out.

Here you can find a list of thematic catalogues in the library's collection.
